Hi and welcome aboard ,
I'd like to also note the FAQ Forum on this site, where Vincent posted a nice cover on where you can find relevant info regarding DataStage.
You can also find other usufull info there.

Time is money but when you don't have money time is all you can afford.
Loved the blog on DataStage Simplicity. Very cool. My thought process completely. DwNav and all my tools are aimed at reducing the complexity of ETL to help understand the overall data flow within ETL. Simplicity also means consistancy. ParameterNavigator is aimed at consistancy and simplifying applying parameters and parameter values across all jobs in a project or multiple projects.
Sorry for the hijack.
Thanks again Vencent. All your blogs are very well written.

Career in DWH requires a sound business knowledge of the domain along with analytical skills to identify patterns. There is a lot of demand for DWH specialists.
If you find any consultancies, you can find huge opening for Datastage professionals.
There are many articles there to predict DWH in 2007. Which is more prosperous.
What ever you do, do full heartly.
Impossible doesn't mean 'it is not possible' actually means... 'NOBODY HAS DONE IT SO FAR'
Any career in IT should be predicated upon good communication skills, which includes written communication. We frown, here, upon usage such as "u", "plz" and "waz" when there are correct equivalents such as "you", "please" and "was".
