Migrating Ascential 7.5 Qualitystage to IBM infosphere 8.5

Hi,

We would like to migrate from Ascential to IBM infosphere 8.5. Could you help me getting the below information

1) What are the improvements, changes (algorithm) etc between Ascential and IBM Infoshpere ? any material will be greatly appreciated

2) Step by Step guide of migration process..

All of that would be documented in the new release itself or on IBM's website.

I dont think quality stage legacy server job stages ( v 7.5) are supported in IIS 8.5

In fact, the conversion is. The concierge team can help convert standardization rules and match specifications, and provide guidance on the remainder. For example, there is a 'Legacy' stage specifically for that reason.

And, as Craig points out, the doc is helpful, too.

QualityStage legacy IS supported; there's a special stage exactly for that, as Robert noted. But far better to convert. Even if you don't use the free Concierge service from IBM Engineering, there is a conversion tool supplied with the Information Server software.
